Stream Free for macOS and Windows

Stream is a dual grain audio sampler that allows any creative to sample audio in a circular buffer and immediately time-stretch, filter and phase-shift chunks of audio to create a continuous, textural stream of audio in real-time.

Here’s a sneak peak at the forthcoming advanced multi-voice version!

The free version is limited to the following features:

  • 2 granular voices
  • Soft clip input stage
  • 1 grain window type
  • Fixed buffer size
  • Momentary linear/jitter
  • Dual-grain LP filtering
  • MIDI Pitch Range C-2 to C-1 steps through buffer position (great for creating rhythmic patterns)

Users can manipulate grain size, playback position, playback speed and playback direction on the fly. You can even MIDI sequence the buffer playback position to create quantized, sequenced results.

Beta for this device has now concluded. Thank you to all our testers for your input.

Helmholtz (Free; Max for Live)

Helmholtz is a simple monophonic pitch follower that tracks a monophonic audio source continuously. Pitch data is then scalable and mappable to control any parameter in your Live set.

Plug in a microphone, select the voice preset, and map the pitch of your voice to control audio effects in real-time. Or set Helmholtz to log mode and map the output to the fixed frequency parameter of an oscillator in Operator.

You can download this device directly from Max for Live.
